Title: Introduction to Green Roofing

URL: http://www.roofmeadow.com/intro.html

Abstract: Green roofs, also called "vegetated roof covers," "living roofs," or "eco-roofs," are thin layers of living plants that are installed on top of conventional roofs. Properly designed, they are stable, living ecosystems that replicate many of the processes found in nature. This site provides basic background information (Green Roofing 101), research, bibliography, and case studies. They identify six different roof top gardens, profiles and links to examples.
