Title: Saint Catherine of Genoa School, Somerville, MA
Abstract: Energy efficiency and light levels were concerns at this school built in 1927 and rebuilt in the 1940s. No major lighting renovations have been provided since the the 1940s. Original schoolhouse pendant fixtures remained in classrooms, offices and halls. The light was inadequate and the electric bills were high.
